Koreen ok definitely give the pumpkin seed oil a little bit of time. How about your daily magnesium? In general it's good for us menopausal girls to help with balance, so that indirectly helps hormonal stress and hair. I take magnesium both glycinate and threonate.

Hey Char. What you see in the pic is definitely only once is a while. If you eat out a lot, an option may be to keep only 1/2 of the bun and cut into the burger with a fork - that's less bread/carbs. I never encourage cold turkey changes to eating habits (it's not sustainable) - instead, ease into making small changes with your restaurant orders. Another easy change that's powerful is water only when eating out. Remember: it's not about 100% perfection, but steady consistency over time.  

Hi Koreen. Yes, it can be very scary. At the time I didn't understand what was happening so the fear went on for several years before I made the connection. I was in my early 40s back then, and thought anything menopausal didn't apply to me yet, so it never crossed mind that it could be hormonal. I was scared but accepted it - just kinda lived with it (ugh) but now I know better. I've recently added pumpkin seed oil to my regimen and I'm getting even better results combined with the other things I do: even less shedding and hair is growing faster, thicker. I hear ya, Terry. For me it's sourdough and Ezekiel. Every now and then I get a hankering for a hot dog and there's really no acceptable healthy buns for that, sadly.
