Josie,
We talked months back when I was trying to get back to exercising. I wanted to write to you and tell you my story. I started with you when you first launched your App. I had been working out in some why most of my adult life. At that time I was working out a couple days a week and struggled with a curved spine, tear in my bicep and left hip pain. I was trying not to give up with working out but the pain was making it hard to continue.
I decided to go to see a pain doctor who recommended a nerve block without giving me a direct answer as to what was causing my pain. The curve spine was inherited and my age (70 last month) was not making it any better. When I left the doctors office I made an appointment for the procedure. When I got home I was totally defeated and basically set down and cried.
At this point you are probably wondering when I am going to get to the point.😉 I decided to try one more time to exercise and I turned on your App. You looked at me and basically told me to do my best and anything I could do was a win. You told me I have to keep moving and it would get better. I decided to listen to you and I canceled my nerve block. This was last February. I started slow and made changes in my eating habits (at your recommendation).
Fast forward to today. I do atleast one exercise from your App(sometimes more) six days a week. I started eating organic, grass fed beef, free range and eat process carbs sparingly. My sugar intake only happens by mistake (forgot to read the labels). I've lost 23 lbs and I feel better than I have for a long time. When I saw my doctor in August of 2023 she told me I wasn't over weight. I wasn't dieting I was just eating smart like you recommended.
I'm not crazy Josie, I know you weren't talking only to me, but it helped to think you were. Do I still have pain, of course I am 70 years old, but thanks to you 95% of the time I wake up in the morning excided to be alive.
When I see people make comments about you or your workouts, I can't help but think if they only knew! If they only knew that everything you do on your App has been life changing to me. You have a follower and a fan for life.
Thank you, Josie!
Wendy
PS - Laughing is good for the soul and you make me laugh too!

Hello!

I am new and I’m in my upper 40s. I used to be very active with triathlons and running but stopped about 7 yrs ago due to hip injuries. I am creating goals for myself and would like to get in better shape by working out 3x a week. With that being said, which program/ videos should I begin with.

I would also like to incorporate some weight training as I think I would benefit greatly from it as well.

Thoughts? Thank you all :)

Hi Josie,

I’m loving the app & am grateful for this community!

I noticed that the videos completed on Jan. 12 & 13 are not showing in my calendar. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to add them manually?
Thanks,
Angie

Hi Josie, how are you? Will you have an app you can download on Roku or Fire tv in the future? Thank you.

Hello,
I cannot find the recent arm strengthening live session from earlier this week. The message says that the video is not available yet. When will it be released? Thanks

Hi Josie,

How are you? In the past there was an link to products you used, example collagen. Are those still in the app? My plan is to start back with your mini workouts throughout the day. I have gotten off track. Thank you for the motivation.

Let the remainder of this year be about recharging, especially mentally. Mental renewal and refreshment. Please continue to make yourself a priority and care for YOUR needs.

🪷 If you’d like, please share how you’ll be doing that. I’ll go first in the comments.

Hi everyone, new here. Hi Josie, been following you a few months on Instagram and finally have gotten myself to be consistent with my workouts.
A little bit more about me: I'm 39, no children, have been overweight and obese most of my life. Over the past 5 years, I've gone down in weight from 355lbs, to now 228 lbs. I've lingered in my 230s for the last 3 years. 2 years ago I injured myself from bad lifting form in my job, and then proceeded to have the worst back pain unimaginable for months until I found out I had 4 herniated discs. I haven't completely recovered but I'm in a flare up right now, and my orthopedic doctor said, I gotta keep losing weight. Hard to lose weight with PCOS and this bad back but I've got no choice. I found your page and I tried a few of your walking workouts and they have been so good for my back and my mobility, but most of all, your spirit radiates through the screen, and that resonates more with me than any other fitness influencer I've come across social media. This is a long shot for me, I'm still not down to my ideal weight, but I'm trying my best, and I hope others here know, that I'm rooting for you all. Ty.

Wanted you to see this first before I post it over on social media (and because my posts end up getting buried over there, too). Just some encouragement to keep your journey going. Do things YOUR WAY- however it resonates with you and keeps you going. Yes, it’s hard work but it doesn’t have to make your miserable.

I don’t believe in ‘the grind’. Small steps, consistent effort, forgiving the missteps, periodic self-evaluation and making adaptions and tweaks along the way is a good mindset to have. Be flexible in your journey and be kind to yourself. ❤️
